Christmas Cookies with a twist

In cooking group we made Christmas cookies. 

Look how cool mine looks. Although it looks like crocodile teeth, it still giving Christmas vibes. 

 

Busy as a bee!

Here I am at the bus stop outside Bayfair, waiting for the bus,

 there’s about three buses that arrive at the same time. It pays to get the right one.

Woodwork skills, putting together this cool hinged box we got from the men’s shed.

 

How to clean a whisk.

Cooking class, I’m now the official new dishwasher. Haha jokes, we made pancakes, they were pretty yummy.

This is Hunter, another bloke! We celebrated his first day with us, by allowing him to beat me at pool,  lose game though, I sunk three balls.

Taking up my dishes at work, got to be a tidy kiwi.

 This is a kit set box we put together really easily, I helped nail it.

 

Getting the veges for a boil up.

 A bunch of us went to get some watercress for a boil up out the back of Pongakawa.

 It’s for a boil up that we are cooking for cultural studies.

 I had to clean the van too, it was dirty, needed a big clean.

 

D.I.Y!

This our guys group project, we bought an old chest of drawers and we have been sanding it down, today we painted the outside, here I am wearing my special overalls so I keep clean!

DIY!

 This is DIY! These drawers need green, I’ve already put a white undercoat on and green will be the top.

 We use blocks to help us visualise things in communication group, this time we made a map of Te Puke using them, with different colours for different shops and stepuff.

 Here we have cooking, making brownie. It was pretty good, very rich chocolate. Just what I needed. May we make a lot more ….

 We had a sensory session in the park, it was a beautiful day and good to be outside.

I’m buying some magnets here at Mitre 10, we have discovered that at science the sand we have is magnetic, I’ll show some photos in the next few weeks.

Here I am creating a new masterpiece, it’s going to be a fishing line with nails creation.

This was a trip to Bunnings to buy a new fan for the centre. It is pretty big, I discovered that I cannot drive and carry it at the same time, but it sure does make an interesting photo.

One of the staff discovered an image creator app, so here am I as myself, and also in cartoon form. I must say I look pretty good.

 

Wild Wild West

I had a real good time at this years concert that we put on. It’s theme was Wild Wild West.  We danced and sang and it was very good. It was a very fun time

 

Shopping and bowling!

Bowling!! Getting them strikes! Haven’t bowled for a bit, good to shake the fingers out do some competitive sport.

Shopping at K-Mart, for headphones and batteries, we always need these.

 

Learning the importance of gadgets! 💻⌨️🖥️📱📲

Communication group this week, I learnt my way around an iPad, it’s easier than I thought and quite similar to the wiping I do on my power chair!

At Bayfair I discovered I can open and close the door to the disabled toilets all by myself!

Daffodils!

Another successful bus trip to Bayfair , this time we avoided the rain and the actual stop which was under maintenance.

On Thursday we sold daffodils on behalf of the Cancer Society all around Te Puke

Being an artist and an outing

Here I am, helping paint a backdrop for our concert, because irs in material, I can have a little bit on my tray instead if leaning over the table.

This will be a door, it needs a bit more colour.

This is funny because last weekend we had a party at my house, now in google maps I discovered that when they took a photo of my house five years ago, we also had a party.
