My birthday

My birthday has come just look at my painting that Vanessa did for me. I am doing one of my favourite pass times. Fishing.

December

We all know what December is about here in te puke. It's my birthday this month and of course Xmas  is getting closer. There is still work to be finished.

Community garden

Wow we went and picked our produce. We got to take home lettuce,spring onions and purple cauliflower. Salad for dinner tonight.

New shop

I went to the new Indian spices shop. I thought it smelt abit funny but they had heaps of different products to look at. The ladies looked at the make up sale.

Safety tip

To all you boaties out there just a reminder to not forget your life jackets when you go fishing and of course life jackets for all your friends who are fishing with you. Another tip is don't forget to let people know what time you hope to be back at the boat ramp with your successful catch saves them worrying about where you are.

Working at the car wash

Sparkles

I had ago at brushing sparkles the horse this morning.

Produce

Have a good look at the pile of Veges we grew in our garden. All ready for picking today and we are able to take some home. 

Garden boxes

Here I am multi tasking. Getting to know Vanessa, planting Veges and hoping I just might get to eat some of the lettuce or peas we grow.

Shopping at the warehouse

We needed some new resources for the studio and I was lucky to go to the warehouse and have a good look around.

Fishing expert

I asked the fishing expert for some tips to catch fish.  We had a day out in Te Puke for the festival.  I went with my friend Dave.

Sports

I stay healthy playing games and doing sport with my friends at Arohanui.

Blood Pressure

I had my blood pressure taken at the chemist.  I have a healthy heart.  I went to the chemist with my friends from Arohanui.

Feeling better

Out for a walk today in the sun down to the community garden. Our Veges have really grown and we have to decide what else to plant in the gaps. We also have some spring flowers so cool.

Update

Just look at my visitors. It's George and Meredith reviewing my chair for me to make sure it is working well for me. I let them know that my tray wasn't quite right and that I would like a drink bottle holder.

Exciting

We went for a trip on the new road it was really exciting for me after my quiet weekend at home.

Watching

Neralie and I watched as the man loaded our scrap metal onto his truck. 

Different tastes

Kiwi fruit was sweet, lime was sour, mandarin was yum, not a fan of apple and cheese is cheese not to sure about the blind fold either fun though.

Library and man time

David and I went to the library and we were choosing books that we thought the studio could use this week.

Mid winter Christmas

We went out to the te puke citizens for lunch. Wow roast chicken and Veges with trifle and cheese cake lucky.

Off to the park.

I spent the morning at the park, it give me time to do burn outs. 

Bonus

I went to new world this morning for my drink to have with my lunch. What's a bonus I got to try the new Cadbury chocolate salty caramel flavour.

Old friends

Wow guess who came to te puke yesterday. Tame. Seeing tame made me happy. Tames group had turns on our bike.

Turban Times

Today we enjoyed a shared morning tea. It's Sophia's last day so we dressed up in headscarves. We had lots of laughs.

Mates 4 Life

My old mate Tame visited us today. Was cool to catch up.

Baking for the Anzacs

This morning I helped Jacky in the kitchen baking Anzac cookies- I tasted a lot of the mature but don't tell anyone!

Delicious Crop

Check out this healthy crop of spinach we grew! Looks like we will all be getting some Popeye muscles!

Kai time!

In Maori culture last week we made some fry bread! Ka Pai! Delicious!

Creations

I am working hard on this project. We are making a table with a built in chess board.... In progress!

Sorting the Weeds from the Veges

Keeping the garden looking good down here at the local community garden. We had a bit of weeding to do this morning.

Mama Mia!

Today we had home made pizza for lunch! Everyone bought in $3.50 to put toward the cost of ingredients. We made the dough, I helped mix it, it grew and we rolled it out. We made four different types- Hawaiian, Plum and avocado, BBQ and chicken, ham and vege. "It was YUM"!

Fisherman to Admire!

One of my goals this year was to go fishing. Last week a group of us went to Pilot Bay to test our luck... And it turns out Im very lucky! I caught 6 fish!!!! My rod was only in the water for one minute before the fish began nibbling! It was a really exciting day. We had fish n chips for lunch and we even had money left over for an ice cream. If anybody needs some fishing tips... Call me!

Fish for Lunch!

My friends went fishing and caught a snapper, I helped fillet it, cook it and EAT IT! Mmmmmm!

Mates 4 Life!

My mate Tame came to visit for lunch today, so cool to catch up with an old bro.

Community garden

We went out to the community garden this morning checking all the vegetables, we pulled a few weeds to help out and talked to all the other helpers who were there.
