Friends and family time!

We had a great music session this week singing Xmas songs and getting in the swing of it all!!!!

Yule time woohoo!!

We've all had a great time putting up decorations up this week. I ve loved dressing up and singing songs like we wish you a merry Christmas, which we all do here in Te puke. Have a great Xmas. We will!! Oh and do you like my new shirt I brought from the op shop!!????

It's coming!!

Oh yes I'm excited.... Only four weeks left till that time again!!! It will be the best ever at my house I've still got shopping to do but I've made some nice cards for the family!!!

Batman

I was batman at the disco on Friday. I couldn't wait for dinner,dinner, dinner, dinner when I got home.

Not stan, arohanui sings take it easy!!,

Fun, awesome, certificates, singing, dancing, morro bars are just some of the words that sum up our brilliant morning at the Historic village, detour theatre.  We performed Take it easy by stan walker and I think we were brilliant. Other performances by other groups from the other studios were, Titanium, eye of the tiger and have a little faith.  They were all good and the atmosphere were great.  I loved getting up on stage and can't wait till next time.

Maureen's park show.

Hi it's been a great week, we had an especially cool time on Wednesday afternoon in the park with Maureen. We all had a groove and danced our socks off.

Great to have lovely food and cake with David on Thursday for lunch, don't tell anyone but he's 56 years old now!! Doesn't look it does he?  Happy birthday I had a great day.

Choice!

We had a great time on Thursday in our music room taking turns to choose music videos to play and act with dance moves. Wicked!

The umpire

Hey I'm getting used to the rules of cricket to be the umpire at our tri studio cup match soon. 

Still loving music

Oh yeh got our country fill on Wednesday as Maureen came to sing us some classic country and western songs.

Tri winners.

We won, my team beat all the other studios and scored the most hoops to lift the cup. Nail biting stuff.

Hamurana springs

We had a great time visiting hamurana springs yesterday, we drove to Rotorua early then had a wonderful walk around the springs. It was cool for my wheelchair and really beautiful.  We saw loads of birds and a big rainbow trout. Here's a few of my favourite pics:

Radio station meeting

Some of us went to a business meeting for one double xx radio last week, I loved there van. 

Painting up a storm!!!

We have almost finished our veggie box, just finished painting the base. Wicked.

Wig

Just look at me today. I borrowed my sisters wig to wear and show everyone at the studio.

Happy at work

Yes!!! we've just started work on our new veggie box and its coming along well. We hope to have it all planted in a couple of weeks???? Watch this space!!!!!!

Wednesday got soul

We had a special guest on Wednesday afternoon. Our friend malakai came to sing us some songs! We all loved it and had a song a long! We loved the stan walker songs....

Thursday lunch special

I loved the steamed lunch we had on Thursday. We set up the steamer early then played music all morning with ollie the music man! We then all set the table and ate a huge lunch and tasty pudding!! Yummy

News

Well this week our van has been at the panel beaters. We went and picked the van up this morning and wow she looks awesome. My wheelchair has been having a good work out this week. Meredith has rung and my wheelchair is going next week for new seating. Will keep you all posted.

Sunny days

Sunny winter days are great. We were able to paint outside this morning.

Morning tea

Wow what a bonus. Joan dropped in to see us at the studio and she had baked us a chocolate cake there was also a plate of savoury eggs. Don't forget the tim tam biscuits and chocolate fingers. All at the studio were very spoilt. Thanks Joan we have enjoyed helping you with your garden.

Cleaning the van

Gardening for Joan

Last week we began gardening for Joan who lives in te puke and needs help to clean up her garden. We all had a great time, weeding, pruning, raking and clearing. I was the wheel barrow and supervisor. I can't wait till we go again this week.

Aunty sheryl from whangarei

My aunty came for a visit on the weekend. I was so lucky she bought me a headphone set. She took me out to the gaming lounge in te puke. She has gone back to whangarei now.

Ipad

This morning I have started to do some art work using the iPad. I really like this first piece lots of colours make me happy.

Kiwi fruit

As we all know it is kiwi fruit time in Te puke. We are lucky to have gold kiwi fruit at the studio. I thought we could cut and peel some to go on to on top of the jelly we made yesterday for a Friday treat for everyone .

Disco

We went to a disco at wilrose to all you out there I Marshall won a prise and so did my mate Nigel. The music was great and we all had a great time. Looking forward to the next one.

Music

At music today we were singing and playing musical instruments. I was really good with the ukulele. We sang many songs.

Visitor

Trish came to visit us at the studio. We were very lucky that trish has helped us sell some of our raffle tickets. Good luck to you all who have bought tickets we will be in touch with the winner

Beach

At the beach we had a really good time some played games we all had a BBQ and some of the ladies had a swim.
